Philadelphia 250: A Look at the Merch Behind the Celebration

Philadelphia’s 250th celebration was one for the books, and we were excited to play a part in it.

Our team worked with Philadelphia 250 to bring their colorful branding to life through custom merchandise created for events, initiatives and celebrations across the city.

From apparel and accessories to giveaways and keepsakes, here’s a look back at some of the Philadelphia 250 merch we helped create and where it all ended up.

Bringing Philadelphia 250 to Life Through Merch

A celebration this big called for merch that felt just as distinctly Philly.

We helped produce a wide range of custom pieces featuring Philadelphia 250’s branding and designs, creating a collection that could show up throughout the celebration in different ways.

From wearable pieces to smaller giveaways and event-ready items, each product gave people another way to connect with Philadelphia 250 and be part of the celebration.

And with so many different pieces in the mix, keeping the branding, colors and overall feel consistent across the collection was an important part of bringing it all together.

From Our Hands to Philly Neighborhoods

One of the coolest parts of this project was getting to see where some of the merch went next.

Our team had the chance to visit the Philadelphia 250 warehouse, where merchandise and other items were being organized and packed for Block Party Bonanza, a citywide initiative designed to bring the 250th celebration directly into Philadelphia neighborhoods.

The initiative supported 250 neighborhood block parties across Philadelphia, with “Life, Liberty and Happiness” kits filled with themed swag, decorations, games, activities and resources to help communities host their own celebrations.

After being involved in the production process, walking through the warehouse and seeing everything packed up and ready to make its way into neighborhoods across Philly brought the project full circle.

The merch wasn't just being made to sit on a shelf. It became part of something much bigger, helping bring neighbors together and giving communities across Philadelphia a way to take part in the celebration.

Merch Made for a Major Philly Moment

Projects like Philadelphia 250 are a good reminder of how merch can become part of something much bigger. From hats and totes to shirts and giveaways, each piece helped bring the celebration into neighborhoods and communities throughout Philadelphia.

As a Philadelphia-based merch company, getting to be part of such a major milestone for our own city made this project especially meaningful. Seeing the full journey, from the first proofs and production to a warehouse filled with finished merch ready to head out across Philly, was pretty hard to beat.

Philadelphia 250 was definitely one for the books.
